Hanoi City Tour – Full Day

Tour Itinerary

8:00 – 8:30 – Hotel Pickup: Meet your friendly, experienced guide and begin your day of exploration in Hanoi’s vibrant heart.

8:45 – Tran Quoc Pagoda: Begin at the beautiful Tran Quoc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island in West Lake, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, dating back to the 6th century. Soak in the serene views and spiritual atmosphere.

9:30 – Ho Chi Minh Complex: A must-visit for anyone in Hanoi! See the preserved body of President Ho Chi Minh (closed on Mondays, Fridays, and certain months), stroll through his former residence, and admire the unique One Pillar Pagoda, dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy.

Dress Code: Please cover shoulders to knees when visiting sacred places.
Note: The Mausoleum is closed mid-June to mid-August for maintenance, though the surrounding area remains open.

11:15 – Vietnam Ethnology Museum: Gain insights into the culture and traditions of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups at this immersive museum. (On Mondays, we’ll visit the Vietnamese Women’s Museum instead.)

12:45 – Lunch at Local Restaurant: Indulge in an authentic Vietnamese meal featuring eight delicious local dishes—a true culinary journey!

14:00 – 14:15 – Temple of Literature: Walk through Vietnam’s first university, established in the 11th century, a place where scholars studied Confucian principles in beautiful surroundings.

15:15 – Hoa Lo Prison Museum: Learn about Hanoi’s tumultuous past at Hoa Lo, originally built by French colonialists and later used to house American POWs, famously nicknamed the “Hanoi Hilton.”

16:15 – 16:30 – Return to Hotel: Our tour concludes, with drop-off at your hotel.
