Itinerary
Morning (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
- 8:00 AM – 8:15 AM: Begin your journey with a hotel pickup in Hue. Our guide will take you to the Toa Kham Boat Station, where you’ll embark on a peaceful dragon boat ride along the scenic Perfume River. While cruising, you’ll pass by the iconic Truong Tien Bridge, the Lim Wooden Bridge, and many other historic landmarks.
- 9:00 AM: Your first stop is the ancient Thien Mu Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hue, founded by Lord Nguyen Hoang. Learn about its fascinating history and admire its panoramic views of the Perfume River.
- 9:30 AM: After visiting Thien Mu Pagoda, head to the charming Hue Garden Houses—traditional homes that reflect the city’s architectural elegance.
- 10:00 AM: Continue to the Imperial City (Dai Noi), the royal palace of the Nguyen Dynasty. Explore the grandeur of Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, and the Forbidden Purple City, as your guide shares captivating stories of the 13 Nguyen emperors. Discover the temples and residences of past queens and concubines, and understand the city’s royal past.
Lunch (12:00 PM – 1:30 PM)
- Enjoy an authentic Hue royal-style meal at a local restaurant. Savor traditional dishes that reflect the unique flavors of the region.
Afternoon (1:30 PM – 5:00 PM)
- 1:30 PM: After lunch, visit the most renowned royal tombs of Hue: Minh Mang’s Tomb and Khai Dinh’s Tomb. Marvel at the intricate designs and stunning architecture of these two imperial tombs, each reflecting the emperor’s unique vision and taste.
- If desired, we can also arrange a visit to Tu Duc’s Tomb based on your preferences.

- 4:00 PM: Cap off your day with a visit to Vong Canh Hill, a peaceful spot that offers stunning panoramic views of the Perfume River and the surrounding countryside.
- 5:00 PM: Return to your hotel in Hue, marking the end of a fulfilling day exploring the historical wonders of the imperial city.
