Hue – Phong Nha Cave Tour One Day
Journey
Itinerary
6:30 AM: Our driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel to begin the journey. Along the way, we will visit:
- La Vang Holy Land – the most significant pilgrimage site for Catholics in Vietnam. Experience the serenity and protection offered by the Virgin Mary here.
- Pass by the Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, a historical symbol marking the division between North and South Vietnam during the war.
12:00 PM: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
1:00 PM: Arrive at Phong Nha Cave, part of the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The cave, formed around 2 million years ago, features stunning limestone formations sculpted by natural forces over time. As you travel by boat deep into the cave, marvel at the vibrant colors of the stalactites and stalagmites, resembling flowing hair or roaring lions. These breathtaking formations have taken shape through water erosion over hundreds of millions of years.
The guide will take you to explore notable sections of the cave such as Cung Dinh Cave, Co Tien Cave, and Bi Ky Cave.
3:30 PM: Begin the return journey to Hue.
8:00 PM: Arrive back in Hue, drop-off at your hotel.
